Coffee morning for charity

STAFF and students at a college in Weybridge joined elevenses lovers across the country on Friday as they took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Those involved at St George’s College were asked for a donation in return for a cup of tea or coffee and a cake donated by members of staff.

Organiser and teacher Ruth Bell said: “The coffee morning is a great way for everyone to spend time together and to support such a worthwhile cause.

”Up to two million people took part in the nationwide event last year, and this year it aims to raise £7 million for those affected by cancer."
