Baroness at Notre Dame

NOTRE Dame Senior School in Cobham received a visit from Baroness Detta O’Cathain on Friday as part of the ‘Peers in Schools’ programme.

Baroness O’Cathain, a Conservative peer appointed in 1991, spoke to the Sixth Form about the economy, civil liberties and constitutional issues.

She urged the girls to involve themselves in politics, saying: “It makes a real difference to write to urge peers to take into consideration the feelings of ordinary people.”
